Get more out of REDCap with Mosio’s Mobile Messaging

We’ve always said “we play well with others” and take pride in the fact that our mobile messaging software works well with other technologies. Whether its vendor-provided EDC, CTMS, or proprietary software, our development team has the experience in helping our clients get more from the tools they use by integrating Mosio functions. Specifically, we’ve been working with clients to integrate our text messaging capabilities into REDCap and we can say that Mosio makes REDCap better.

REDCap, created and managed by Vanderbilt University, is a great tool for capturing research data. It’s the core focus of what they do and that’s great. If you want to add text messaging functions in REDCap, you have two choices: Build and manage your own (usually with Twilio), or use another service. If you’re a DIY-er, that’s great, but if you’re reading this post, you may fit into the second category. That’s where we come in. We’ll refer to our services page for the list of all of the things you can do to improve study participant engagement, communications, and data collection, integrated into the REDCap system. If you’re looking for ways to get the most out of text messaging, let us know how we can help.

We’ll be the first to admit we can’t do everything, but from the work we’ve done with clients so far, it seems there are some incredibly innovative ways our two technologies work together. You may be thinking “another piece of software to learn?” With Mosio, that’s not always the case. In many instances, once we get the Mosio modules set up and integrated, all functions can be triggered based on activities in REDCap. Once we figure out what you’re looking to do, we’ll be able to give you an idea of how it will all work.
