0:07 So what is included in the red cap direct versus basic plans? Mocio’s data security. So a lot of these answers can be found on the mocio.com slash mocio.com.

0:17 You can actually, you can see buttons to get to this pricing. The data security is no different, nothing, everything’s the same platform, it’s HIPAA compliant, 21 CFR part 11 compliant.

0:30 Where there is a difference is if. If your organization requires that we are signed a BAA, answer your privacy and data security questions, undergo any sort of audit or enter into a master services agreement.

0:44 In that case, you actually need what’s called an RCD license. And that’s on this page here. If you click on red cap users and you scroll down, then you can see more about the RCD license there.

0:59 Integrations included with the direct plan is how does that differ what’s included in the basic plan. Direct is only texting in red cap, meaning the most you embedded in your instance of red cap is what you get to do.

1:16 That’s basically it. What you get with basic and plus and in fact also if you see video most the plans explained, I go through in a video and talk about what’s each of the differences here between the plans.

1:30 But basically direct means inside of red cap only if you’re looking to add to a texting automated messaging functions. Point reminders, alerts, anything else, text chat all of those things exist in the basic and the plus plans.

1:48 So direct is very specific to just sending either red cap links or things that are noted in what red cap calls invitations or in conversation.

1:57 Which is SMS surveys. So it does a lot, but it’s quite limited in scope. Survey reminders included in red cap direct plan.

2:07 So survey reminders are in the direct plan and everything else. In fact, if you’re integrated with red cap, they’re a function of red cap.

2:16 They’re not really a function of MOSIO. So inside of your red cap project or your red cap instrument, if you have reminders set up and you’re using MOSIO, I believe each instance, every instance has this capability, but you can set up those reminders to be sent inside of red cap.

2:34 And then you tell red cap to tell MOSIO to send a text message. Whereas you might previously send an email reminder.

2:43 With the direct plan, can we send automated reminders to complete the survey that’s not been completed? That seems like the same question, but again, that all takes place inside your instance of red cap, not inside of MOSIO.

2:55 Are the 1000 outbound messages in the direct plan a monthly limit or in totaled? So they are totaled. In fact, if you mouse over, we’ve got tool tips for each of these things.

3:03 But the messages roll over to the next month. All inbound text messages and segments are free. So if you order for 12 months, then you would get 12,000 for 12 months of the basic plan is 36, and so on and so forth.

3:25 It’s not public, if you email us, we can send that to you. That typically lets IT know that we’re covered in some capacity, but if your IT department has additional questions and needs us to answer your questionnaires and provide additional documentation, that is part of the RCD license.

3:46 And again, you can find more information available here and contact us. By the way, the RCD license is typically done not with individual researchers or teams, but it’s done with IT with more administrative departments at organizations.

4:03 So what’s included in the RCD license, what’s needed from us to establish a license with the institution? If you contact us, I’ll send a document.

4:20 A signed business associate agreement will actually sign yours, master services agreement IT security and compliance question there’s answered, and then we also have dedicated training for your Redcap admins or any of your IT folks that are setting up projects and then we have optional fees for a single

4:37 sign-on and encrypted VPN tunnel. So I can send a full document to you on all of that. The setup fees vary based on if you need just the basic configuration, campaign registration for texting numbers, or if you need single sign-on services, encrypted VPN tunnels.
