Launching the Mosio for Events Display from a PowerPoint Presentation

We’ve had some clients ask the best way to launch their events display from inside of PowerPoint, Keynote, or other presentation software. Some have asked if they are able show the event’s screen inside of their presentation software. First, the reason we don’t recommend launching your text-to-screen display inside of PowerPoint, then onto our recommended way to do so.

Embedding Your Text-to-Screen Display in Powerpoint: Not Recommended

We understand that people have different reasons for wanting the functions and features they want, but we don’t recommend it for a pretty simple reason: Why try to replace the functions and flexibilities of a web browser through plugins and add-ons when a browser does the job perfectly?

We pride ourselves in making things as simple and cost effective as possible without plugins, add-ins, Adobe Flash, ActiveX, or any additional tech wherever possible, so we recommend using your web browser for the screen you’re going to be projecting. The best feedback we get from clients is that our software is easy to use. We hope you agree.

BUT…If you absolutely must, we have information inside of the training guide PDF and a ink to a free PowerPoint add-in called LiveWeb.
