Twitter Answers
Ask questions and get answers using Twitter.
Answered by other Twitterers and real people just like you.

Twitter Answers is a Q&A Application mashup using Twitter and Mosio. It enables you to ask any question using Twitter and have it answered by real people.

Setting it up is simple. For starters, you need a Twitter Account and a Mosio Account, both of which are completely free. If you already have a Twitter account, quickly sign up for Mosio below.

Sign up for a free Mosio account.
After you sign up for a Mosio account, log in and click on Update Profile and then add your Twitter name in the IM/Twitter section.

ASKING QUESTIONS
1) Click "Follow" on www.twitter.com/qna
And check "On" for Notifications for QNA. QNA will automatically follow you as well.


Make sure and turn your IM notifications to ON if you want to see new questions posted and help answer them.

2) You are ready!
Now you are ready to ask questions. Send a direct message to QNA ("d qna your question") through Twitter (it works with your phone too).
"d" starts the direct message, "qna" is the username, and your question goes at the end.

You will get up to 4 answers for each question you ask.

Test It!
Tweet d qna test, it won't get posted to the site, but you can use this to see how the answer comes back.

** Twitter Answers via Your Mobile:
In your settings, make sure your Phone & IM is set up like the image below to use Twitter Answers from your mobile.



Activate your phone with Twitter And turn Phone Notifications to "Direct Messages" (drop down located in the Phone & IM section of your Twitter Account). You do that here: twitter.com/devices
Twitter Mobile #s: 40404 (USA) or 21212 (Canada) or +44 7624 801423 (UK and Australia).
Note: If you use IM to receive Tweets, you'll need to log out to receive the answers on your phone. This shouldn't be a problem as you'll most likely be away from your computer, but still.



HELP ANSWER QUESTIONS!
Help other people get their questions answered and get some questions of your own answered. Ask some, answer some, dig?

You can do so by either setting up your Twitter Notifications to receive IMs from QNA or you can enter your IM in your Mosio Settings.
