Right before a basketball game, don't eat anything. Have a good, healthy meal with lost of carbs a few hours before, and water a few minutes before.

That file is the NT Boot Loader. It is a file that tells windows how to load the kernel. You will need a boot disk of some kind or if you don't need to save the install just reinstall over the entire drive.
