Question
Amps are what kills you, not volts. So, like a taser, the 1,000 volt fence has barely any amperage, so it'll just hurt a lot and cause your muscles to give out, probably dropping you to the ground like a sack of potatoes. You'll be fine l8r

It's best not to touch an electric fence...electric current can lead to heart problems. Your body is maintained by a series of electrochemical signals which can be distorted by foreign electric current.

The signs read volts, not amps, cause most people don't understand the connection of amps and death. Like you, most people think volts kill. The ones who understand still know volts hurt like hell!
