I'm driving across country for 2000 miles and I have 3 other people with me in the car. What's a reasonable amount to charge them for wear and tear on my car? I'm going to charge them for gas, 125% each but is there a formula or a website that talks about how to charge for the

the current IRS calculation for per mile cost for a vehicle is 50.5 cents. this includes gas and maintence on the car.

Government reimburses for 50 cents per mile. So ask your buddies for $1000 (total), $350 each

jebus, for 350+gas I'd just take a bus. Never been charged (except, gas, beer n food) for a ride. Never charged anyone anything other than gas either. Just remember what goes around comes around. -shakes head-
