Question
What's the refresh rate of the human eye? Join or Log In to answer.
Depending on the viewing conditions and the person, the answer seems to be
from 25 to 60 Hz ("frames per second"). Below 25 Hz, a movie would appear
to be a series of still shots, not a moving picture...

Few people can tell
the difference if the frame rate is increased above 60 Hz.

Movies are run at 24 Hz (under fairly ideal viewing conditions), whereas TV
signals come in at 30 Hz.

The eye doesn't have a refresh rate, it does have what is called integration time, the time it takes for the eye to detect & the brain to interpret the information sent by the eye. The integration time of the eye is about 1/5 of a second.
