Question
Anyone familiar with "Death of a Salesman?" Why might Linda be considered a failure, besides that she just played along with Willy's delusions?

Haven't read it but it seems she is considered the reason for the failure of her sons & husband, making her a failed mother and wife, perhaps self-inflicted (guilt). I hope that helps, I gleaned this info from online postings.
