i hope you didn't start with a $$$$ base. did the micro-brew once or twice, it was drinkable, but took too long. can make a kick ass maraschino cherry liquor (cherry moonshine) that I almost killed myself on.

currently on 30min/day 3/week Push-ups, situps, powerblocks. lacking on cardio. (wedding in mar to go to)
when I was "working out" it was 3hr+/day 1 1/2hr of cardio heavy workout 1hr, light workout 1/2hr alt upper n lower n eskrima.

pushups pullups situps 3 times a week. weights when i have extra time. and i've been swimming 3 or 4 times a week this summer. i wanted to gain 10 pounds this summer.. but i just lost fat and gained a little muscle so i'm about even.

you sound like an ectomorphic body type. Hard to gain muscle right? gotta work on nutrition (you'll get tired of eating). lean protein, (labrada, eas, twinlab shakes) especially after a heavy workout. supplements will help. NiOx helps with vascularity, cr

creatine for muscle building and l glutamine/dextrose so your muscles don't canibalize themselves.
Natural way is learn protein and calories, lift heavy weights for strength or mass. gotta tear it (micro tears, not injure yourself) so you can build mass.

go to gym 2-4 times per week; generally ~30 mins cardio, 10-15 mins weights (I like classes like cardio kickboxing and body sculping and such b/c keeps my interest much better than bike, eliptical, etc.)

After work regimen: open case of beer, open beer, lift to mouth, repeat. Once in awhile I walk to the bar and lift mixed drinks instead. Bonus: continuous trips to the bathroom.
