No way. Consider PR as being on the east coast of the United States while Central America is more on the middle to west coast. Very different places. P.R. is near the Bahamas, Antigua,Dominican Republic, Cuba, places like that.

No, it's not Central America. He said it's an ISLAND, meaning it's in the middle of the ocean, south of Florida, east of Central America.

Puerto Rico is southeast of Florida, and Northeast of Panama. It's east, and a little south of Cuba.
