Question

I start up my computer and it onl shows the background but no icons or start menu on the bottom how can i fix that Join or Log In to answer.

hit ctrl+alt+delete then go to file, new task. then enter explorer.exe into the run field. that should do it.

cntr. alt . delete... go to task manager... click on File>New Task(run).... then type 'explorer' (no quotes) and hit ok. That should do the trick!

restart the computer and during the bios keep hitting the "f8" key to enter safemode. either do a system restore or run some virus/spyware scans.
