here's what I'd do (but you'll end up with a busted registery) I'd delete the whole directory manually
then reinstall it. I still can't figure why it'd interrupt your web browsing. thats just weird.

best bet is but a USB external harddrive if you want to keep all that. but I've learned most the stuff I got on my compy I can do without. I keep files i want in a particular spot so I can transfer them if I need.
