Is 178 a high Blood/Glucose reading ? Join or Log In to answer.
glucose readings are very individual average for an adult is 80-120 but my mom's doc told her to stay in the 95-175 range. its high but not crazy high. if you've just had sweets its reasonable but not good. if not it is cause for concern

Are there any other websites out there like this one: http://elfyourself.com Join or Log In to answer.
There is a lot of stuff on jibjab.com where you can stick in peoples' faces... although jibjab does elfyourself, so don't know if that counts as "other websites."

I do not file taxes now because i am retired and on disability. If i take a part time job will it effect my dissibilty and state and will i have to file a return (right nom i don't have to). Join or Log In to answer.
The answer to all your questions is "probably" - You might get better answers from your states department of job and family services, or equivalent.
-rivalarrival (82Q / 1489A) Sat Nov 8, 2008 10:16am

You should consult a CPA, Bookkeeper or whoever does your taxes. There might be a loophole that enables you to work but keep getting your government checks.

are we screwed with Obama ? will he make us vulnerable if he takes troops out of the middle east ? won't this leave our borders open for terrorists to come here ? isn't it better that we kill and stop them over there rather then run around this country trying to stop them and getting innocent American's killed in the crossfire ? I know it's terrible that innocent lives are taken in other countries while we hunt them down, but thats where they are now, so isn't it better to stop them here rather than let them come here any stop them ? i think you are confusing the definition of Defense and Offense. recently we've been on the Offensive against terrorism, not the defensive.
-confucius (104Q / 855A) Wed Nov 5, 2008 11:48am

Yes, but isn't it really the same thing (offense and defense) ??? Keep it
away (offense) ??
-ericisom (206Q / 0A) Wed Nov 5, 2008 11:55am

the only accurate answer to this question is "Only time will tell."
-wdreiling (13Q / 738A) Wed Nov 5, 2008 11:49am

I agree, time will tell, but I do think that if we stay the course of the past 8 years NOTHING would improve.
-KungFuKitten (444Q / 3492A) Wed Nov 5, 2008 12:33pm

your question is based on the flawed premise that terrorists WANT to come to the US in the first place. i think most "terrorists" are more concerned with getting us to go home than they are on following us back to the US once we leave.

Well we're really not detectives here, so this info is not readily available. Plus we don't give out personal info on private parties...

Next time you get to a comp, you can certainly look the info up yourself through pay sites that will give you the info.

I have a computer that once had a bunch of AOL stuff loaded on it. Is there something I can run to get rid of all the AOL stuff ? Join or Log In to answer.
don't see any "remove all" type utilities for AOL products.. add/remove programs always worked fine for me. AOL stuff isn't tricky to remove..
-slikwacko (0Q / 2410A) Tue Oct 28, 2008 5:20pm

I had some trouble getting everything AOL off of my computer too. Do a computer search for AOL and then just delete it.
