How many plants do you have in your house, apartment or living space? Join or Log In to answer.
Two that belong to my living space. One is a ivy plant in water, so I don't kill it. :(
-melodyx (58Q / 302A) Wed Apr 30, 2008 2:03pm

1 small live one that was given to me. Lots of silk vines around the canopy frame of my bed.
-kinetta (117Q / 1422A) Wed Apr 30, 2008 2:03pm

Not even one houseplant. My thumbs are not at all green (but I hear cacti are easy to take care of).
-rand0mflora (0Q / 30A) Wed Apr 30, 2008 2:05pm

I have a few in my office, but have realised its very important to have some in ones work space. So I have daffofils in my office now even though as with most plants, they need to be taken out during the day for some sunlight

sorry at the beginning of my answer, i meant kitchen not office
-emissary (87Q / 12A) Wed Apr 30, 2008 2:06pm

I have 7 total. Wish I had double that amount.
-KungFuKitten (452Q / 3657A) Wed Apr 30, 2008 2:06pm

Just cross your eyes and PRESTO! Twice as many EVERYTHING! :)
-wdreiling (13Q / 805A) Wed Apr 30, 2008 2:48pm

none, but there are bushes, plants and flowers directly outside my windows
-Mangangali (18Q / 6964A) Wed Apr 30, 2008 2:07pm

Lucky bamboo and some half dead thing. Does refrigerator mold count as a plant??
-modcom (41Q / 8659A) Wed Apr 30, 2008 3:27pm

varies frequently (based on which plants I move in or out with the weather and if I've been to a plant store recently). I have a serious green thumb and have a ton of plants indoors and in the yard! Gardening is one of my relaxation/sanity hobbies
-meowdoc (30Q / 445A) Thu May 1, 2008 6:21pm

none plants are for outside

Too late, already trapped here.
-kinetta (117Q / 1422A) Tue Apr 22, 2008 11:34am

pinch yourself every few minutes. find things to keep your mind occupied (watch for patterns of speech, like # of 'ums')
-jedwardcooper (29Q / 190A) Tue Apr 22, 2008 11:28am

I don't have proper pain receptors, not bothered by pinching. I like the patterns idea.
-kinetta (117Q / 1422A) Tue Apr 22, 2008 11:39am

take notes
-Mangangali (18Q / 6964A) Tue Apr 22, 2008 11:28am

-wdreiling (13Q / 805A) Tue Apr 22, 2008 11:29am

I ask questions that will get the person talking to get to the point. Or questions to shut them down. Meeting adjourned
-Robot (30Q / 1200A) Tue Apr 22, 2008 11:29am

Timed code review. One hour no matter what.
-kinetta (117Q / 1422A) Tue Apr 22, 2008 11:42am

dirty thoughts keep me awake! =P
-grooviekenn (281Q / 154A) Tue Apr 22, 2008 11:31am

That would differ from my norm HOW?!? And who judges them to be 'dirty'?
-kinetta (117Q / 1422A) Tue Apr 22, 2008 11:33am

Try excusing yourself to the restroom. It may seem rude, but not as rude as falling asleep. Then, take a brisk 30 second walk to get the blood flowing and get back into the meeting.
-emeryemery (11Q / 57A) Tue Apr 22, 2008 11:35am

Currently drinking cold water.
-kinetta (117Q / 1422A) Tue Apr 22, 2008 11:47am

-emeryemery (11Q / 57A) Tue Apr 22, 2008 12:11pm

I'm sure you dont use drugs, but Crystal Meth will keep you awake ONE TIME ! :) and you'll probably enjoy the meeting more than you ever thought possible. Sorry, just an idea.

If you're doubling the recipe and making two pies, do you just double the time? Join or Log In to answer.
No. the baking time varies when baking two at a time. I would watch and check them carefully evry 5-10 minutes after the "single" pie bake time and take out when ready.
