What do i need to do to make plain tomato sauce out of whole peeled tomatoes from a can?

4 peeled tomatoes
2 bay leaves
4 to 6 peppercorns
1 small onions
1 tsp garlic, chopped
1/2 capsicum, deseeded
1/4 cup tomato ketchup
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp dried oregano
2 tbsps olive oil or oil
salt 2 taste

1/2 tsp salt

10 to 15 mins until sauce reduces a little.
Add ketchup, sugar & salt & simmer 4 some more time.
Finally,add oregano & mix well. Remove capsicum, bay leaves,peppercorns & discard.

almost brown. Add the tomatoes and reduce to a simmer for 5 mins. Add basil and oregano if you have them, but it's also good without them.
