The Statue of Liberty torch, raised in her RIGHT hand is actually one of Liberty's most recognizable features. Apart from being a symbol of enlightenment, Statue of Liberty torch can also be interpreted several different ways.

Not my area of expertise, but it looks as though solids melt to become liquids, so the freezing point is when it becomes solid, so it seems all solids are frozen liquids, we just think of some things differently.

Freezing applies to liquids because science needed a way to differentiate between various substances. One could argue that all matter has a point at which it becomes liquid but that ignores the basic state of matter in a normal stasis.
