I'm not standing up for cheating here, but what if they're NOT cheating? Just playing devils advocate here. Probably poorly, but still. :)
-boggle (58Q / 775A) Tue Feb 5, 2008 11:29am

(To chefjoanna)
Yea i totally agree... this has been brought previously as well http://www.mosio.com/question/UHSYXL

I'm with you...

No offense Boggle, but i'm not buying that...
-bigmike (33Q / 2708A) Tue Feb 5, 2008 11:31am

(To bigmike)
I'm not buying it either... there is a point where it stops being curiosity and starts smelling like poo.

Big steaming pile of cheating poo...
-bigmike (33Q / 2708A) Tue Feb 5, 2008 11:36am

(To bigmike)
LOL! too bad there's not a way to let people new to the conversation know that there's a movement to boycott answering such questions.
-chefjoanna (12Q / 79A) Tue Feb 5, 2008 11:41am

(To bigmike)
I think we are here to answer questions. Unless the user is profane, tactless or abusive to the Qnagents, why should we care what questions are being answered? The whole point of Mosio is to answer.
-modcom (41Q / 8659A) Tue Feb 5, 2008 11:47am

(To modcom)
I have to agree with modcom on this one. If it's not about hate/hurting anyone, I'm cool with the questions. I don't HAVE to answer. My favorite thing here is that it's a strong topic of conversation. Gotta love that we're all opinionated and vocal!
-boggle (58Q / 775A) Tue Feb 5, 2008 11:53am

(To modcom)
I agree too. what if it's someone having an argument over lunch? if only age was in people's profiles ... that, and what school they go to :)
-squirrel (29Q / 463A) Tue Feb 5, 2008 11:56am

(To modcom)
Yea you're right Modcom, but it just bothers me when people use us to cheat on tests... i answer questions because i like useless facts and helping people
-bigmike (33Q / 2708A) Tue Feb 5, 2008 12:15pm

(To squirrel)
Yea but its when they ask 10 questions in a row all centered around a specific topic (Biology, chemistry, history), they are definitely up to something, not just arguing during lunch
-bigmike (33Q / 2708A) Tue Feb 5, 2008 12:02pm

(To bigmike)
good point, i didn't see the rest of the q's until just now. that does have an "i'm in chemistry class" feel to it. i guess in the end we choose what we answer and what we don't though. and how detailed we are in the answer.
