When approaching the cat, speak calmly to reassure him. Make sure he can see you at all times as you approach, and perhaps entice him to come to you by offering a strong-smelling food such as canned tuna.

does it have a collar on with a tag? if not, you can see about taking care of it until tomorrow. but on the other hand its sunday. nothing might be open. so if u want take care of it until monday. how big is it? can u guess how old it is?

If you're not able to safely restrain the animal, call the local police or animal control agency.

If you are able to transport the animal, take him to the nearest animal shelter.

Don't intend on either. Just go with the flow. A discussion can turn into an intense debate. But don't make your readers feel that they have to know everything about the subject.

Not as far as I can tell. You can click on "buy" in the toolbar and do a search for completed listings and see the average price that way but you would have to make the assessment on your own.
