It seems to be to avoid time zone issues. Most military time is GMT, or "zulu".

the reason military time was created was because a navy pilot was told to go fly at 2 am and instead he went out at 2 pm and was shot down and killed. so with military time people wont get confused. even many jobs use military time.

If a pet is acting a ring bearer. For instance, a dog which in this case it is. How do you get the ring bearer dog out to the front of the wedding ceremony? Should he be walked out or walk out on his own? It's a bit confusing.

Unless the dog is exceptionally well-trained, you're better off having someone walk it--too many distractions otherwise.
