Why did the fresh prince of bel-air theme song get cut down from It's original length? Join or Log In to answer.
The change to the theme song allowed for longer episodes to be created.

It allowed longer episodes to be created. Full song apparently never used, but the intro was cut from the original after episode 8.

How far west did the radio iso topes of the chernobyl travel and effect local cultures and the economies Join or Log In to answer.
At least as far west as the UK. Particles were detected in Sweeden (684 mi away). It shut down chernobyl and the surrounding area (still closed). Not sure about economic impact far west -- likely not much in Sweden.

Is there a way to save a single image from a Power Point file that I got by e-mail? Join or Log In to answer.
With the full version of Power Point you can open the .ppt file and extract any image from it to a folder.
-modcom (41Q / 8648A) Fri Dec 21, 2007 6:25pm

Can anyone tell me how? I do have the full version of PP. But when I open the .PPS file, it just starts the slide show. A right click brings up some options, but nothing useful to capture a single slide.

Its quite possible that the creator of the .ppt protected the images

You could take a screenshot using the Print Screen button -- or a free utility like "cropper" (search google).
