Cakes are fragile when they're removed from the oven, so leave them in the pan for 5 minutes before turning onto a wire rack to cool. (Don't leave it any longer or it will sweat and the crust will go soggy.)

If you're fairly network savvy, you can setup your own ftp/http server (plenty of free packages available for both) and use dyndns.org to give yourself a domain name, allowing you to access your home server from anywhere. I used to do this to send files t

Some archive types (rar for instance) can split a large file into smaller files, if you can't set up the ftp method (which is actually the method I would recommend) then you can use a rar archiver to split the file and upload to drop.io
