GoldMail is an enhanced messaging software company that allows business people to quickly and easily create personal and powerful audio slideshow messages by making slides from virtually any content (PowerPoint, PDFs, Text documents, photos) and recording their voice over them.
They help businesses foster more personalized communications with customers and create more interactive messaging to static email marketing and websites.
Challenge:
GoldMail sales representatives attend various industry trade shows to demonstrate the service's technology and in the past have relied upon traditional methods of data collection (card readers, web/print forms, business cards) to gather contact information from prospected customers.
Booth visitors see a live demo and take a few pieces of marketing collateral. Follow-up methods typically occur post-conference to thank prospects for visiting their booth and re-introduce the service in an online format.
Seeking a dynamic way to deliver information about their service on-the-go, GoldMail wanted to implement a representative-specific solution that enables instant, personalized prospect follow-up in real-time via text messaging, email and the GoldMail product itself.
The Solution:
Mosio recommended that GoldMail use the Mocard service, which provides a mobile alternative to printed documents, presentations and collateral.
Booth visitors were able to instantly receive GoldMail marketing materials via email with a self-serve call-to-action or manual push via sales representative.
Using Mocards, customers (or sales reps) sent a text message with an email address to deliver the marketing materials including a GoldMail message to that email account.
Results:
Utilizing the Mocard service, GoldMail was able to send an immediate "Thank you for visiting our booth" GoldMail message that also served as an introduction into how their service works by providing a real world example.
Post-conference communications could then be dedicated to prospect follow-up, eliminating the need for product re-introduction online and thereby shortening the sales cycle.
