Is badly a word? Join or Log In to answer.
not if you use it badly
-bebop (15Q / 16A) Mon Apr 21, 2008 2:44pm

It is. As in: "they played Badly" or I badly want a Wii."
-wdreiling (13Q / 709A) Mon Apr 21, 2008 2:45pm

Try "poorly."

Like: "He wanted to win so poorly he could taste it."? :)
-wdreiling (13Q / 709A) Mon Apr 21, 2008 3:13pm

(To wdreiling)
For the original questioner: use "poorly" as opposed to doing something "well." This word is an adverb and describes how someone does something. I disagree that "I badly want a Wii" is correct unless you are behaving badly about the situation. ;) back at

I agree, however Webster's online listed both uses of the word so I included them. I don't think it is proper to say I want that thing badly. My question is do you "feel bad" or "feel badly" about something?

What is a good low cost host, web host, I know from DreamHost, BlueHost are couple that I know. Join or Log In to answer.
hosting is a commodity. i wouldn't try and search out the best deal as you usually exchange $ for better service. go with somebody reliable who you can reach by phone when you need too.
-bebop (15Q / 16A) Tue Apr 15, 2008 4:45pm

Godaddy is a solid company. Crowhost is a small company but can handle big traffic and customer service is solid.
