Solifugae is an order of Arachnida, (Camel Spider)They are not especially large, the biggest having a leg span of perhaps 12 centimeters (5 in).

Yes, the size of tarantulas - 2 to 5 inches. They are not true spiders - wrong order. Non-venomous.
