I only really turn mine off when I am flying some where.

i don't turn it off, but sometimes it's in the next room. on the airplane, i put it in airplane mode, which impedes transmissions, but i don't use it so i don't know why i do it that way.

I NEVER turn my phone on anything louder then vibrate. I even turn it off. I guess I'm not so dependent as everyone else on ALWAYS being needed.

I turn it off on planes, in movie theater, in doctor's office, etc. Most of the time it's only for a short time; unlikely to have a life-threatening emergency at that exact time!

Depends. Once I find something that I am happy with, I will stick with it for a long, long time. But I often have to try out the latest greatest to find that certain thing.

I dabble in all if I'm interested, but am not an "early adopter" - I usually wait for the 2nd version before I buy.

I like technology, I've learned to be like KFK, wait until the second generation comes out. I got tired of all the bugs that come with a lot of 1st gen stuff
